Are you saying that a possible "turning" could trigger this process instead of the person naturally awakening?

Its a possibility. I have read that it can be, if you like, "switched on", just be reading books or watching videos based on Vampires. It's hard to say as to wheter or no a Vampire is born or is made. i dont believe that a Vampire can be created through biting, even though i have read a few book and web pages that Vampires can be made through being bitten by a lead Vampire. But to be honest i dont beleive this. I think that each and everyone has the ablility to become a vampire, its just a matter of time before the "Vampire gene" is awoken. It's the same as witchcraft. Everyone has the ablilty to perform magick. everyone has the ability to be a witch, it just a matter of time for that part of the brain to be triggered. and then its down to that person to decide if thats what they want to do. do they go down the past of witchcraft or do they not.

I wholeheartedly believe what ambersekhemet has to say.
Of course, the first vampire had to be born that way, it's just nature. If not, then how would the chain of vampirism even begin?
Indeed, everyone has the ability for pretty much anything. Probably the only thing that man cannot change, even as the portrayment of God, is changing their nationality. You can't jsut be like, *poof* "I'm italian now!" It just doesn't work.
But man can change what he looks like, not so much by natural means, or means intended by God, but he still can.
When you think about how impractical some things seem, it kind of makes you think....That mankind is in fact the most powerful creature alive.
It saddens me that so many have gone astray from God's design, and wound up, most of them, turning to the dark side of magick. That so many ruin the world for their own benefit because they were given, and now abusing, such great power.
What I'm trying to say really is that we have a little of every one of God's creations inside us all, which is what makes us the most powerful.
But even mankind is just a large number of chemical reactions that simulates intelligence. When you really do contemplate it, all intelligence is artificial. Because it was all created by an actual intelligence. When God first said "Let there be light", he illuminated the world, and then let his plan off on it's own, as a bird releasing it's children ito the world outside the safety of their nest.
He let it, with his design, go free. Not interfering, only placing one major law upon the world: All is One, and One is All.
Everything acts in part of everything else. All would be well for everyone, even if it cannot happen in lie.
If man's life is terrible, it is made up for in heaven. If man's life is great, well, then it depends what kind of a person he is.
